Total War Shogun 2 Remaster Pulled From Steam [Confirmed]

Sega and Creative Assembly officially delisted Total War: Shogun 2 Complete Edition from the Steam marketplace following widespread community uproar regarding unresolved technical bugs and uncredited generative artificial intelligence art assets. According to verified reports from Polygon, players discovered low-fidelity UI elements, mangled clan portraits, and glaring graphical artifacts that pointed directly toward unvetted machine-generated assets inserted into the classic 2011 grand strategy title. Longtime fans and competitive tacticians voiced intense fury over broken unit pathfinding, crash-to-desktop errors in campaign co-op modes, and multiplayer synchronization failures that rendered online matchmaking nonfunctional. Following an influx of overwhelmingly negative reviews on Steam, the publisher pulled the release pending an internal review.
