Torchlight: Infinite SS14 Tartarus Update [Patch Notes]

Torchlight: Infinite has officially launched its Season SS14 Tartarus update across mobile and PC platforms, introducing an eerie prison dungeon where hunters battle inmates, collect nameplates, and orchestrate brutal survivor clashes to secure rare seasonal rewards. According to verified reports from Pocket Gamer, this seasonal rollout departs sharply from lighthearted mobile Halloween celebrations, pushing players straight into the subterranean horrors of Tartarus. Hunters entering the mode must navigate escalating danger levels, clearing waves of hostile prisoners to claim identification nameplates before seizing mechanical control of the prison complex itself. Once in control, hunters can pit rival cellblock factions against each other, systematically thinning enemy ranks before confronting the empowered surviving champions. XD Games designed this multi-stage encounter loop to test character survivability, DPS scaling, and resource management in end-game situations. Much like mobile optimization seen in the recent [Apple Gaming Push: Indie Games Week & No Man's Sky [Confirmed]](/news/apple-gaming-push-indie-games-week), Torchlight: Infinite demonstrates how modern cross-platform action RPGs deliver high-fidelity seasonal gameplay loops directly to handheld devices without compromising technical depth.
