Valorant Roster: Team Vitality Bids Farewell to Derke [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from VLR.gg, Team Vitality has officially parted ways with star duelist Nikita Derke Sirmitev, concluding a high-profile two-year tenure that reshaped the organization's competitive trajectory in the global Valorant Champions Tour. Derke initially joined the hive back in October 2024 following an illustrious four-year run with FNATIC, where he secured back-to-back international trophies at LOCK//IN and Masters Tokyo. Featuring star headliners like Felipe Less de Loyola Basso and Saif Sayf Jibraeel, Vitality entered the competitive circuit with soaring expectations. Despite a fourth-place finish at Masters Bangkok, the squad experienced a turbulent descent through EMEA regional stages, missing crucial global slots. Following roster reconstructions that integrated Timofey Chronicle Khromov, Elias Jamppi Olkkonen, and Dawid PROFEK Święć, Vitality fought their way back through the qualification gauntlet. Squeezing into Champions Shanghai as the fourth seed, the squad delivered a blistering lower-bracket run before falling only to tournament champions LOUD. Now, as the organization prepares for the 2026 season, management faces critical strategic choices regarding team synergy, tactical discipline, and aggressive map pool execution. Industry analysts and fans alike are tracking how this high-profile departure alters the European regional balance of power.
