Nintendo Switch 2 Storage: 512GB Card Drops to $85 [Deal]

Walmart has officially slashed the price of its Switch 2-ready onn 512GB microSD Express card down to $84.77, offering handheld gamers a budget-friendly solution to upgrade the next-generation console’s limited 256GB onboard storage before upcoming 2026 digital blockbuster titles launch. According to verified reporting from IGN Articles, the ultra-fast expansion card dramatically undercuts competitor pricing, including SanDisk's comparable 512GB microSD Express unit that commands a steep $129.99 tag on Amazon. With modern game install sizes routinely surpassing 60GB, Nintendo’s base 256GB capacity fills up rapidly across handheld esports libraries and AAA titles. Walmart’s in-house onn model delivers certified transfer speeds without mechanical components, making it a plug-and-play storage upgrade directly formatted through system settings. Much like finding value on enthusiast accessories like [Gaming Cosplay Gear: Amazon Cuts 50% Off RGB LED Mask [Deal]](/news/led-light-up-mask-deal-amazon), securing high-speed hardware at historic lows remains a rarity due to persistent global NAND memory supply crunches. Given that previous handheld storage generation prices steadily declined, current PCIe NVMe micro-architectures continue holding premium valuation tiers globally. Shoppers should act rapidly, as inventory restocks sell out within hours across regional retail channels.
