Street Fighter Movie: Kylie Minogue Cammy Cameo Cut [Confirmed]

Kylie Minogue nearly reprised her iconic role as Cammy White in Legendary Entertainment's upcoming live-action Street Fighter reboot, but conflicting international tour schedules prevented the cameo from materializing despite direct personal coordination from co-star Orville Peck in October 2026. According to verified reports from Kotaku, masked country musician Orville Peck, who portrays the Spanish claw-wielding assassin Vega in the new adaptation, revealed the behind-the-scenes negotiations during an interview with Queerty. Peck, a longtime musical collaborator with Minogue following their 2024 single alongside Diplo, attempted to directly coordinate with the Australian pop star after film executives struggled to reach her management team. Minogue, who originally played Cammy in the cult-classic 1994 film alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia, was reportedly eager to make an appearance, describing her original production run as one of the most fun filming experiences of her career. The missed crossover lands amid a massive pop-culture renaissance for video game adaptations, following entertainment milestones like the [Hugh Jackman Action Thriller Hits No. 1 [Confirmed]](/news/hugh-jackman-action-thriller-streaming).
