RTX 5090 Heist: Stolen GPU Resurfaces for $6,400 [Confirmed]

A stolen Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card lifted during a coordinated airport forklift heist in Brazil has officially surfaced on secondary marketplace OLX with a listed asking price of R$32,000, approximately $6,400 USD. According to verified reports from PC Gamer and Brazilian broadcaster Jornal da Band via GMC Online, the listed flagship card's serial number directly matches one of the missing units taken from warehouse inventory on September 21. Local police reports reveal that two outsourced forklift operators systematically removed two full pallets of next-generation hardware before navigating airport electronic checkpoints with an accomplice. The rest of the cargo remains unaccounted for as federal investigations continue across regional supply channels. Hardware enthusiasts seeking peak rasterization targets are already scrambling ahead of upcoming releases like [Modern Warfare 4: Best PC Graphics Settings [Full Guide]](/news/mw4-best-pc-graphics-settings-guide). Hardware distributors warn buyers that registered stolen serial numbers void manufacturer warranties, prevent automated driver authorizations, and expose secondary buyers to criminal receiving charges without authentic proof of retail purchase.
