Star Wars Galactic Racer Update Expands Party Size [Patch Notes]

According to verified reports from Kotaku published on October 22, 2026, developer Fuse Games has launched a major new update for Star Wars: Galactic Racer that successfully expands online multiplayer party sizes from three to six players. Responding directly to community feedback, the studio fast-tracked these improvements to let friends experience competitive racing tours together without roster restrictions. In addition to expanded party sizes, the patch introduces brand-new keyboard control layout options on PC, addressing long-standing ergonomic requests while full key rebinding support remains in active development for subsequent patches. Furthermore, players joining online multiplayer Tours midway now receive an increased credit payout, jumping from 4,000 to 6,000 credits to offset late-entry disadvantages and incentivize active matchmaking participation. Technical enhancements also feature prominent spectator camera transition tidy-ups, the removal of the hazardous 'Exit the game' shortcut in the PC multiplayer menu to prevent accidental disconnects, and comprehensive party stability fixes that eliminate annoying lobby crashes. While a minor PlayStation bug fix rounds out the official patch notes, these targeted quality-of-life upgrades cement the title's standing in the modern arcade racing landscape.
