Star Wars Battlefront 3 [Leak]: DICE & Respawn In Development

Star Wars Battlefront 3 is reportedly entering full co-development between EA DICE and Respawn Entertainment under Disney oversight, according to explosive industry statements from Bulkhead Games CEO Joe Brammer verified by initial reporting from PCGamesN. The disclosure follows mounting speculation that Lucasfilm Games reopened legacy publisher negotiations after restructuring multiple licensing agreements. Brammer, whose studio developed Battalion 1944 and the upcoming mech-tactical title Wardogs, publicly alleged that both premier Electronic Arts branches have reunited to build the massive sci-fi sequel. This dual-studio model directly addresses historic development bottlenecks, leveraging DICE mastery of 64-player Frostbite destruction physics alongside Respawn polished competitive gunplay refined in Titanfall and Apex Legends. The report aligns with separate Hollywood insider leaks claiming Disney sought an established powerhouse team to revive the multi-era shooter franchise following years of fan petitions. While EA previously canceled pitched Battlefront projects citing licensing overheads, the monumental commercial endurance of the franchise on platforms like Steam has forced a strategic pivot, echoing discovery shifts tracked in our [Steam Next Fest AI Flooding [Confirmed]: New Browser Extension](/news/steam-next-fest-ai-browser-extension) report as legacy AAA properties reclaim player mindshare.
