IND vs NZ 2026: Shreyas Iyer Six Ignites Chase [Watch]

Team India captain Shreyas Iyer launched New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry for an astonishing pick-up six over deep backward square leg on October 22, 2026, in Christchurch, igniting India's steep 226-run chase during the first T20I encounter. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, the sensational stroke occurred at a pivotal juncture after India suffered the rapid dismissals of top-order stars Tilak Varma and Ishan Kishan. Stepping into the crease at number four, Iyer absorbed early swing before executing a wrist-heavy flick that deposited Henry's short-of-a-length delivery deep into the grass banks of Hagley Oval. The stroke provided vital counter-attacking momentum in pursuit of New Zealand's imposing 225-run total, paralleling the high-stakes tactical intensity analyzed in the [Lens vs Paris FC Prediction: Ligue 1 Clash [October 2026]](/news/lens-vs-paris-fc-prediction).
