Shenaniguns Goes Free on Steam in 2026 Shift [Confirmed]

Shenaniguns, the acclaimed 2026 co-op top-down shooter developed by solo creator Coding398, has officially eliminated its $6.99 USD price tag to become permanently free-to-play on Steam, unlocking full access for squad-based action without upfront barriers. According to verified reports from Game Rant, the indie shooter previously commanded a modest retail price but earned over 90% positive user reviews from early adopters praising its fluid twin-stick mechanics, frenetic encounter pacing, and chaotic squad synergy. By shifting to a zero-dollar model, Coding398 aims to solve matchmaking discovery bottlenecks and build an expansive community around cooperative multiplayer combat. This pricing overhaul follows broader shifts across PC and mobile distribution models, echoing transitions seen in titles like [Broken Ranks Android Release: Full Tactical Guide [Update 2026]](/news/broken-ranks-android-release-guide-648).
