Saros Zenith Update & PS5 Sale Now Live [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from Kotaku published on October 19, 2026, Housemarque launched the major Zenith update for Saros on PlayStation 5, introducing extensive post-game features like New Game+, custom difficulty modifiers, and a brand-new boss rush mode. The update also delivers twelve mysterious story visions tied to protagonist Arjun, expanding the lore for players tackling the rigorous endgame loops. Although Saros experienced lower initial sales figures compared to Housemarque's previous hit Returnal—partially due to its PlayStation 5 console exclusivity and Sony's current strategy regarding PC ports—the title has received a massive lifeline. Alongside the free Zenith content drop, the game is currently discounted by $20 on the official PlayStation Store until October 22, 2026. This promotion provides an ideal entry point for players who skipped the launch window earlier this year, bridging the gap for enthusiasts of challenging arcade shooters.
