Real Madrid Shock: Vinicius Jr Summer Sale Urged [Confirmed]

Real Madrid committed a major strategic mistake by failing to sell Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr during the summer transfer window to balance their attacking front line, according to sharp criticism delivered on beIN Sports by France legend Marcel Desailly following European fixtures. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, Desailly voiced deep reservations regarding the on-pitch cohesion between Vinicius Jr and headline summer arrival Kylian Mbappe. Desailly argued that both global superstars demand the exact same territory on the left wing, suffocating offensive fluidity and leaving central spaces vulnerable to counter-attacks. Rather than offering Vinicius Jr an exorbitant contract extension, Desailly insisted Florentino Perez should have cashed in on peak market valuation to recruit complementary profiles suited to manager Carlo Ancelotti's system. The debate mirrors international tactical shifts seen across elite European football, reminiscent of recent high-stakes clashes highlighted in our [Angers vs Marseille Prediction: Ligue 1 Clash [Update 2026]](/news/angers-vs-marseille-prediction-ligue-1-preview). Madrid's inability to establish defined channel separation has prompted analysts to evaluate whether preserving brand value took precedence over tactical cohesion in the locker room.
