PUBG Mobile Upgrade Materials: New Lab System [Guide]

PUBG Mobile players discovered unexpected material conversion requirements in the firearm research lab this week, confusing collectors attempting to level up progressive weapon finishes across global servers during the 2026 competitive season cycle. According to verified reports from Reddit PUBGMobile user Demar24K, the latest workshop interface prompts users for rare modification materials during intermediary enhancement tiers that historically relied solely on standard paint canisters. Community analysts tracked these interface anomalies following background client synchronizations, sparking debate regarding resource economy transparency. Players upgrading signature weapon lines such as the M416 Glacier, AWM Rainbow Drake, and progressive SMGs now encounter stricter component gating that demands precise inventory management. While casual collectors compare the shift to broader industry balance passes like the [COD Modern Warfare 4: Best Weapons Meta Tier List [Patch Notes]](/news/mw4-best-weapons-meta-tier-list), competitive mobile operators note that high-visibility kill feeds remain essential psychological assets in lobby dominance. Tencent community liaisons have acknowledged the player feedback regarding ambiguous material conversion tooltips, though backend drop rates for elite modification stones remain tied strictly to premium lucky crate algorithms and seasonal event redemption stores.
