PUBG Mobile PowNin Companion: Player Demand Surges [Update 2026]

PUBG Mobile players are actively petitioning developer Krafton to convert the limited-time event mascot PowNin into a permanent companion, citing high cosmetic affinity and unique voice lines as the primary motivations for keeping the character across ranked classic matches. According to verified reports from Reddit PUBGMobile, community members rallied behind user beingzee's viral proposition, urging developers to retain PowNin even if its functionality is strictly restricted to ambient conversational remarks. Companion characters have traditionally served as cosmetic novelties in PUBG Mobile, accompanying operators in lobby displays, spawn island rallies, and vehicle passenger seats without impacting hitboxes or bullet registration. As player sentiment builds across global forums, collectors argue that seasonal companions frequently vanish after event timers expire, stranding cosmetic investments. Much like narrative easter eggs highlighted in the [Borderlands 4 Easter Eggs: Top 10 Hidden References [Full Guide]](/news/borderlands-4-best-easter-eggs), interactive sidekicks deliver emotional immersion that keeps daily active users engaged between major competitive cycles. Krafton has previously converted select temporary event assets into permanent Lucky Crate drops, giving proponents genuine optimism that PowNin could soon earn a permanent slot in player inventories.
