PUBG Mobile MITH Penalty: 2-Point Deduction [Confirmed]

According to verified investigative reports from Competitive PUBG published in early 2026, Thai professional esports organization MITH received a controversial two-point penalty after player Kiss physically used an earphone cable to measure in-game distance during a heated tournament match. The incident came to light following public disclosures by MITH coach Jom Rubickz, who clarified that rival teams filed formal protests after observing the physical measurement technique. Controversy immediately erupted across gaming forums and social media platforms because tournament rulebooks contained no explicit prohibitions against utilizing physical objects to gauge screen or HUD distances, nor did official regulations outline specific penalties for such unorthodox tactical improvisations. Competitors, analysts, and fans alike aggressively questioned the retroactive enforcement of penalties in the absence of written guidelines, arguing that tournament organizers must establish transparent, unambiguous protocols rather than penalizing rosters arbitrarily. This unexpected ruling severely impacts MITH’s overall tournament standing and playoff qualification momentum, forcing the coaching staff to pivot focus toward immediate psychological recovery and flawless operational adherence moving forward. As administrators review future compliance frameworks, teams across the circuit are auditing their physical setups to prevent similar infractions.
