PUBG Mobile Light Launching in 2026: Low Specs [Confirmed]

Krafton has officially confirmed that PUBG Mobile Light will launch globally in early 2026, delivering an ultra-lightweight battle royale experience engineered specifically for budget Android hardware featuring as little as 1GB of system RAM. According to verified reports from Google News PUBG Mobile and PocketGamer.biz, the upcoming title re-engineers Unreal Engine 4 rendering pipelines to run at a consistent 60 frames per second without overheating entry-tier devices. The installation package size is trimmed below 800MB, down dramatically from the standard 3.5GB client, removing a massive barrier to entry across South Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. This initiative follows the recent milestone where [PUBG Mobile Lite Pre-Registration Opens [Confirmed]](/news/pubg-mobile-lite-pre-registration-open) signaled massive pent-up regional demand. Players can expect 60-person lobbies on condensed 4x4 km maps, reduced draw distances tuned for tactical clarity, and fully synchronized server tick rates that preserve precise gun mechanics. Alongside these technical optimizations, the development team confirmed that core combat elements, including classic vehicles and signature airdrop weapons, will feature full operational fidelity from day one.
