PS Plus November 2026: GTA 5 & RDR2 Leaving [Confirmed]

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers are officially losing Rockstar Games masterpieces Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 simultaneously this November, stripping access from active subscribers unless they purchase permanent standalone game licenses. According to verified reports from Game Rant, Sony updated its Last Chance to Play section on the PlayStation Network, revealing that both blockbuster titles will exit the subscription library alongside the standard mid-month refresh. Unlike monthly PlayStation Plus Essential titles, which remain permanently playable in user libraries as long as an active subscription continues, Extra and Premium games operate on rotational licensing agreements that regularly expire. Rockstar previously cycled Grand Theft Auto 5 through PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass across prior console updates, yet losing both massive open-world benchmarks in a single cycle represents an unprecedented departure for high-tier subscribers. Players must conclude active single-player story chapters or migrate cloud saves before the mid-November maintenance cutoff.
