Pokemon TCG: Veteran iCaterpie Handed Lifetime Ban [Confirmed]

Play! Pokemon has permanently banned 25-year Trading Card Game veteran Alessandro 'iCaterpie' Cremascoli from all officially sanctioned competitive circuits following disputes over tournament judge conduct, marking one of the strictest disciplinary actions in modern card game history. According to verified reports from Game Rant, Cremascoli confirmed the lifetime expulsion after voicing public grievances on social media regarding how tournament officials handled rule infractions and table penalties during a recent premier event. Cremascoli has represented high-level competitive card play since the franchise's inception, making the sudden disciplinary sanction a massive shock across the global trading card circuit. While The Pokemon Company International has withheld direct public statements detailing the exact disciplinary clauses triggered, the player expressed bewilderment over the complete absence of a prior formal warning or standard temporary probation period. This unprecedented punitive step mirrors structural integrity enforcement seen across digital card titles, much like card design philosophy covered in our analysis of [Inscryption Horror Legacy: Why Sacrifices Rule [Update 2026]](/news/inscryption-blood-sacrifice-mechanic-legacy-2026). As regional qualifiers proceed throughout the calendar, tournament organizers face intensified scrutiny over judge discretion, player speech policies, and formal appeals procedures across the entire championship series.
