One Piece: Every Sun God Power User Ranked [Full Guide]

One Piece officially designates Monkey D. Luffy and the original Void Century figure Joy Boy as the definitive Sun God power users, harnessing the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika to channel freedom, divine environmental manipulation, and legendary warrior strength. According to verified reports from Game Rant, the Sun God lineage extends past simple mythological reverence, intertwining centuries of lore spanning ancient Elbaf prophecies, the Void Century, and Bartholomew Kuma's Buccaneer ancestry. While figures like Joy Boy initially manifested the mythical Zoan awakening eight centuries ago, Monkey D. Luffy unlocked the form's true absurdity during the Wano Country climax against Kaido. Game Rant's ranking underscores how Nika’s flame manifests across selective historical figures who embody unyielding liberation. Much like classic narrative origins explored in [God of War Kratos Original Name Was Dominus [Confirmed]](/news/god-of-war-kratos-original-name), ancestral legacies dictate character trajectories across modern gaming lore. Outside the direct fruit wielders, secondary figures such as Marshall D. Teach and Saint Jaygarcia Saturn serve as direct thematic antitheses, contrasting liberation against tyrannical oppression. As Eiichiro Oda accelerates the Final Saga toward the Elbaf arc, Joy Boy's awakened Haki remnants demonstrate that Sun God authority represents an ontological shift rather than an ordinary combat buff, cementing Luffy at the peak of living anime entities.
