One Piece: Oda Reveals 5 Sun Gods in Elbaf Lore [Confirmed]

One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda has officially confirmed five distinct representations of the Sun God in the Elbaf arc, concluding over two decades of narrative foreshadowing that originated in chapter 287 back in August 2003 with the initial Skypiea introduction of Nika. According to verified reports from Game Rant, the ongoing Elbaf storyline solidifies the Sun God Nika not just as a single mythological warrior, but as a transferable concept and lineage manifested across multiple figures. Alongside Monkey D. Luffy awakening the mythical Zoan Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, and Jewelry Bonney tapping into an alternate distorted timeline to mimic Nika form, Oda integrates ancient Elbaf deity worship and historical Joy Boy parallels. This massive lore revelation bridges legendary narrative arcs much like exploring the foundational secrets in [NES Masterpieces Ranked: 10 Timeless Retro Classics [Ranked]](/news/nes-masterpieces-ranked-retro-classics). Manga analysts emphasize that Oda deliberately timed this disclosure to establish final saga stakes, ensuring every faction in the Grand Line confronts the ideological weight of the Dawn. Game Rant highlights that this thematic multiplication reframes how mythological devil fruit awakenings operate across upcoming canon battles.
