Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Weapon Manuals: Unlock Guide [Full Guide]

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, elite tactical operators unlock customized Gunsmith weapons by successfully locating and extracting rare Weapon Manual items scattered across dangerous exclusion zones during high-stakes deployment operations throughout 2026. According to verified reporting from Game Rant, the removal of traditional Insured Slots in Modern Warfare 4's extraction mode completely revamps how players progress their armory. Rather than relying on timer-based insurance, players must now hunt for specific weapon manuals hidden within high-value loot caches, strongholds, and boss drop locations. Each manual corresponds to specific firearm trees in the Gunsmith, requiring tactical map control and successful exfiltration. If an operator is eliminated before reaching an extraction chopper, all secured manuals are permanently lost, adding intense risk-reward stakes to every match. This fundamental shift rewards map knowledge, squad coordination, and survival over passive progression.
