Modern Warfare 4 DMZ: How to Unlock Legendary Weapons [Guide]

Modern Warfare 4 DMZ players can unlock exclusive legendary weapon blueprints by successfully completing Tier 4 faction missions and extracting Weapon Cases from high-threat radiation zones across Urzikstan, bypassing conventional multiplayer weapon level grinds and microtransaction store bundles entirely in October 2026. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, Infinity Ward and Activision have quietly expanded the extraction reward pool to reward dedicated infiltration teams. Instead of locking elite weapon platforms behind premium Battle Pass paywalls, players who eliminate roving Commander bosses—such as the Chemist or the Juggernaut—can extract sealed Weapon Cases to permanently register fully customized legendary weapon builds into their global Call of Duty armory. This overhaul aligns with earlier tactical expansions previewed in the [Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Dog Intro [Confirmed]](/news/cod-modern-warfare-4-dmz-dog-intro) updates, reinforcing squad-driven risk-versus-reward extraction mechanics. Squads must coordinate exfil timing carefully, as picking up a Weapon Case marks the carrying operator on everyone's tactical map, sparking relentless PvP ambush choke points. Successfully exfiltrating with five consecutive cases grants the flagship Hazard 4 Assault Rifle blueprint, featuring calibrated recoil stabilization, an extended magazine, and thermal optics optimized for long-range engagements.
