MW4 DMZ: How to Place Transmitters on Radio Towers [Full Guide]

To complete the Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Triangulation objective in the Underground chapter, players must scale two towering communications arrays situated across the exclusion zone and interact with the top gantries to mount dual signal transmitters before exfiltrating. According to verified reporting from Polygon, the Triangulation mission serves as a critical early milestone for faction reputation progression, forcing operators into high-risk vertical ascents that contrast sharply with the chapter's subterranean theme. Operators must approach both designated radio tower sites with pre-acquired transmitter kits stored in their tactical backpacks. Scaling the exterior maintenance ladders leaves squad members entirely vulnerable to hostile sniper angles and AI patrol reinforcements guarding the base perimeter. Polygon notes that activating the beacon requires holding the interact prompt at the summit for four continuous seconds per tower. If eliminated while ascending, players forfeit their carried mission item and must re-queue from the lobby depot.
