MTG Warhammer 40K Reprints US-Only: Global Fallout [Confirmed]

Magic: The Gathering fans outside the United States will not receive the upcoming Warhammer 40K Commander precon reprints, as new industry reports confirm Wizards of the Coast is restricting the product run exclusively to North American distributors. According to verified reports from TheGamer, this unexpected geographical restriction has sparked immediate backlash across international tabletop gaming communities. Players in Europe, Asia, and Latin America who anticipated relief from soaring secondary market prices for iconic deck archetypes like Forces of the Imperium and Tyranid Swarm now find themselves facing severe allocation shortages. Major local game stores across international regions report that distributor allotments have been completely zeroed out, leaving local card markets vulnerable to opportunistic scalpers and exorbitant price inflation. Industry analysts note that while US retailers secure steady restocks, international enthusiasts must navigate volatile secondary markets or import items at steep markup rates. This regional divide highlights ongoing supply chain vulnerabilities in physical trading card games, mirroring disruptions seen in other major gaming sectors like the [Warhorse Studios Cyberattack Hit Lord Of The Rings RPG [Confirmed]](/news/warhorse-studios-cyberattack-confirmed-2026). Wizards of the Coast has yet to issue a formal global justification for the US-exclusive print allocation, leaving collectors frustrated.
