Monster Hunter Wilds Switch 2 Demo: [Confirmed 2026]

Capcom has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monster Hunter Wilds will launch a playable prologue demo next week, granting hunters early access to the opening campaign with full progression carrying over into the final game release. According to verified reporting from VGC, the surprise prologue drop represents Nintendo's first public demonstration of third-party AAA performance on the next-generation handheld hybrid. Players can explore the introductory Windward Plains territory, customize their hunter and Palico, and test basic gear loadouts against introductory apex predators. All hunter ranks, gathered materials, weapon forging stages, and story progress completed during the trial will sync seamlessly into the full commercial launch without data loss.
