Modern Warfare 4: Vince Zampella Honored in Credits [Confirmed]

Modern Warfare 4 officially honors the late Call of Duty co-creator Vince Zampella with a dedicated memorial tribute placed prominently during the campaign mid-credits sequence following the launch of Infinity Ward's anticipated 2026 first-person shooter. According to verified reports from IGN Articles, Zampella, who tragically passed away in a car collision last December, is commemorated alongside departed team members Rainer Yang, Matt Canale, and Preetam Raj Bordoloi. His name stands at the very front of the dedication screen once players complete the campaign's final climactic scenario. Zampella originally laid the conceptual foundation for Call of Duty in 2003 after departing Electronic Arts, orchestrating the revolutionary 2007 release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that permanently elevated competitive shooters.
