Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Crash Fix: Loot Loss [Patch Notes]

Modern Warfare 4's new extraction mode, DMZ, suffered critical server crashes during early access deployment on Thursday, resulting in tactical players permanently losing newly gathered raid loot despite emergency hotfix patches from developer Infinity Ward. According to verified reports from IGN Articles, players experiencing sudden server disconnections while exploring exclusion zones retain pre-match loadout equipment and baseline progression, but forfeit all unextracted items collected mid-run. The early access preview period allowed community members to test weapon builds and map layouts ahead of the full release scheduled for Friday. While overall community reception to the immersive extraction mechanics remains overwhelmingly positive, unexpected network stability issues disrupted high-stakes raid operations. Infinity Ward deployed server-side mitigations to safeguard baseline player progress, confirming that pre-loaded FOB gear remains fully protected during sudden disconnect events. However, community feedback highlights ongoing frustration regarding lost contraband weapons and rare valuables secured during aborted infiltration runs. As players prepare for the official global launch, maintaining stable network architecture will be paramount for competitive extraction genre survival and inventory preservation across all operational sectors.
