Marvel Cinematic Universe: Saddest Goodbye Before Endgame [Info]

The MCU’s most heartbreaking farewell occurred in Avengers: Infinity War when Thor’s beloved hammer Mjolnir was destroyed, marking a poignant moment that predates the snap and any character death in Endgame and leaves fans mourning the loss of a symbol of his power. According to verified reports from Game Rant, the scene shows Mjolnir shattering during the battle on Titan, a visual cue that resonated deeply with audiences worldwide. This early emotional blow set a tone of sacrifice that foreshadowed the later tragedies of Endgame, yet it remains the series’ most sorrowful goodbye because it involved no death, only the loss of an iconic weapon. Fans have since created tribute videos and fan art, while esports organizers are incorporating Thor‑themed challenges into upcoming MCU‑inspired gaming events.
