Marvel Rivals Name Change: How to Edit In-Game ID [Full Guide]

Players can change their display name in Marvel Rivals by opening player profile settings from the main menu, selecting the edit icon next to their username, and spending an in-game Rename Card to confirm their identity modification. According to verified reports from CharlieIntel (COD & Warzone), NetEase Games implements a structured name modification protocol to avoid matchmaking exploitation. Every fresh profile receives one complimentary Rename Card upon account creation, while subsequent handle changes necessitate purchasing additional cards from the in-game store using Units. Furthermore, players must observe a mandatory 30-day cooldown interval between changes, ensuring competitive leaderboards remain stable throughout tournament seasons. Any offensive or policy-violating tags trigger automatic account flags and reversion to generic guest identifiers. Understanding these identity parameters ensures players protect their profile prestige without risking sudden administrative sanctions or leaderboard disqualifications during high-stakes competitive ranked ladders.
