Manav Suthar NZ vs IND Test Snub: Murali Kartik Shocked [2026]

Former Indian cricketer and prominent analyst Murali Kartik openly voiced utter astonishment after selectors controversially omitted standout domestic left-arm spin bowling sensation Manav Suthar from the official India Test squad for the high-stakes New Zealand 2026 tour. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, Kartik highlighted Suthar's extraordinary domestic red-ball numbers and consistent wicket-taking trajectory during a recent broadcast analysis. The exclusion has ignited intense debates among pundits and fans alike, questioning the selection criteria for overseas conditions where spin variations play a pivotal role. Suthar, who has been a standout performer in domestic circuits, was widely anticipated to secure a spot in the touring party. Analysts argue that omitting such rising talent deprives the squad of crucial tactical variations needed to counter foreign batting line-ups. As pressure mounts on the selection panel to justify their finalized roster, stakeholders are closely monitoring how this decision impacts team dynamics and future series planning. Similar high-stakes roster announcements often mirror shifts seen in competitive gaming leagues, such as those discussed in the [MPL PH Season 18 Playoffs: Schedule & Teams [2026]](/news/mpl-ph-season-18-playoffs), where squad depth dictates ultimate tournament success.
