EA Sports FC 26: Malaga vs Real Sociedad Odds [Preview]

Real Sociedad travel to face Malaga at Estadio La Rosaleda on October 18, 2026, as manager Juan Funes fights to secure his squad's elusive first La Liga victory following a dramatic promotion campaign. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, the Andalusian outfit enters matchday action anchored to the lower table as the only top-flight club yet to register three points this season. Malaga required a desperate 93rd-minute strike from Adrian Nino last Friday to salvage a gritty 1-1 draw against Espanyol on home turf, showcasing persistent defensive vulnerabilities under sustained pressure. Real Sociedad arrive looking to exploit those transition weaknesses through disciplined midfield rotations and clinical counter-pressing. Similar to volatile clashes seen in our [EA Sports FC 26: Groningen vs Ajax Match Odds [Preview]](/news/fc-groningen-ajax-prediction-odds-2026), defensive organization will dictate the pace from the opening whistle. While the home supporters at La Rosaleda remain vocally defiant, statistical projections heavily favor the Basque visitors. Malaga must neutralize wing overloads and prevent early concessions if they hope to disrupt the visiting side's tempo and escape the relegation zone.
