Laptop Cooler Review: Klim Everest $50 Comic Pack [Review]

The Klim Everest laptop cooling pad, priced at $50 and bundled with a quirky comic strip, is a noisy but stylish accessory that aims to improve laptop temperatures for gamers, though its performance and value remain questionable. According to verified reports from PC Gamer, the pad features a single 120 mm fan that reaches 2,500 RPM, delivering up to a 7 °C drop under load but generating a constant whir audible from across a room. Reviewers noted the included comic envelope adds novelty but does little to justify the price, especially when comparable coolers cost less without the fan noise. While the pad’s aluminum surface offers decent heat dissipation, its plastic frame feels flimsy, and the fan’s PWM control is limited. For gamers using high‑end laptops, the cooler may prevent thermal throttling during extended sessions, yet casual players might find the noise disruptive.
