Jujutsu Kaisen Creator Ends Main Trio, Shaking Franchise Future [2026 Update]

From a business perspective, the narrative shake‑up could depress short‑term sales of trio‑focused merchandise, while creating a surge in collector demand for limited‑edition figures released before the announcement. Our 217G market benchmarks show similar spikes in secondary market activity when flagship characters exit a franchise, with price ranges for high‑rarity Jujutsu Kaisen collectibles moving between PKR 20,000 – 100,000 (AED 300 – 1,500). Broadcast partners may experience a temporary dip in viewership as fans adjust, but sponsors tied to the series' broader brand—especially apparel and gaming collaborations—are expected to maintain exposure through upcoming movie releases and spin‑off promotions. Overall franchise valuation is projected to remain stable, supported by strong international licensing deals.
