Jack Lowden Battlefield 1 Star Is James Bond Finalist [Confirmed]

Jack Lowden, the Scottish actor who portrayed Lawrence of Arabia in EA’s Battlefield 1, has been confirmed as one of the final four candidates to play James Bond, with final auditions scheduled for next week, according to GameSpot News. The casting race, originally hinted at by Deadline, now includes Lowden alongside Callum Turner of Masters of the Air and Josh O’Connor from Disclosure Day, while rumors suggest Jacob Elordi may be the mystery fourth contender. The Hollywood Reporter clarified that Elordi is not testing, and Jack O’Connell is also out of the running. EA’s partnership with the Bond franchise could see cross‑promotional content, especially as Amazon MGM Studios plans to announce the official actor before year‑end. Fans anticipate that Lowden’s involvement may revive interest in Battlefield 1’s legacy content, potentially boosting in‑game purchases and community events.
