IND vs WI: Ishan Kishan Smashes 24-Run Over [Confirmed]

India explosive batter Ishan Kishan dominated West Indies pacer Romario Shepherd by hammering two boundaries and two massive sixes in a stunning 24-run over during the fifth IND vs WI T20I in 2026, shifting momentum decisively in India's favor.

According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, Kishan stepped onto the pitch with aggressive intent, dispatching Shepherd's short deliveries past backward point before launching towering maximums over deep midwicket. The 24-run onslaught arrived at a pivotal junction following news of [Nitish Kumar Reddy Missing IND vs WI 2026 5th T20I [Confirmed]](/news/nitish-kumar-reddy-missing-t20i), which had forced tactical adjustments in India's batting depth. Kishan immediately neutralized Caribbean pace variations, transforming a cautious opening spell into an explosive run-scoring clinic. His counter-punching display dismantled West Indies' field placements and destabilized Shepherd's length control completely. Observers noted how Kishan leveraged fast hands and footwork to punish slower balls, registering one of the most electric individual overs in bilateral T20 history.
