IND vs WI 2026: Morne Morkel Defends Bowlers [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, Indian bowling coach Morne Morkel publicly defended his under-fire bowling unit ahead of the decisive fifth IND vs WI 2026 T20I encounter following brutal high-scoring matches in Ranchi and Hyderabad. The West Indies batting lineup has consistently dominated the series, successfully chasing down a massive target of 250 in Ranchi and posting 247-3 in Hyderabad during explosive displays of power-hitting. Morkel emphasized that extremely bowler-unfriendly pitch conditions made it exceptionally difficult to contain aggressive hitters, noting with frustration that even mistimed shots frequently sailed over the boundary rope for sixes. Fast bowler Mayank Yadav and the rest of the pace attack faced severe competitive pressure, prompting deep tactical evaluations across coaching staffs and analysts worldwide.
