GTA 6 Rockstar Tribunal: HR Rewarded Discord Informant [Confirmed]

Rockstar Games allegedly granted paid time off to an internal Discord informant who monitored private employee union servers, according to bombshell evidence presented during the official Rockstar union tribunal in Glasgow on October 16, 2026. According to verified reports from TalkEsport, the Independent Workers’ Union of Great Britain (IWGB) surfaced a revealing message exchange during cross-examination of Rockstar executive Jennifer Kolbe. The contested communications showed a human resources manager compensating an anonymous information provider with an hour off after they spent an hour combing through a private union Discord server for screenshots used against developers fired in 2025. While Rockstar legal representatives characterized these individuals as protective whistleblowers, tribunal proceedings adopted the neutral classification of information providers with redacted identities. This revelation follows broader industry tensions regarding digital privacy, similar to recent community disputes where tools and datamining sites faced unprecedented scrutiny, as seen when a [Game Decompilation Site Closes Due To AI [Confirmed]](/news/game-decompilation-site-shutdown-ai). Rockstar continues to vehemently deny that any employee terminations were linked to unionization efforts, even as tribunal disclosures cast a sharp spotlight on corporate HR surveillance methods and internal workplace friction during the ongoing high-stakes development cycle of GTA 6.
