GTA 5 Leaving PS Plus Ahead of GTA 6 Launch [Confirmed]

Grand Theft Auto 5 will officially depart Sony's PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription game catalog in November 2026, forcing millions of console players to purchase standalone copies before Rockstar Games unleashes GTA 6 worldwide. According to verified reports from Kotaku, players have roughly one month remaining to explore Los Santos under their current subscription tier. Rockstar Games previously rotated the title through subscription rosters, but this departure carries strategic weight given the looming franchise transition. Recent community speculation heightened following reports where the [GTA 6 Leaker Quits Intel Spills After Crypto Coin Crash [Leak]](/news/gta-6-leaker-quits-crypto-crash), steering broader attention back toward official distribution schedules.
