FF7 Revelation: New Gameplay Teases Pink Chocobo [Confirmed]

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation unveiled forty-six seconds of brand-new vertical gameplay on social channels, highlighting Cloud Strife piloting a pink chocobo through colossal underground caverns beneath Midgar. According to verified reports from GameSpot News, the fresh footage confirms Square Enix is pushing world design far past the boundaries set by Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Players witness Cloud descending into an immense subterranean chasm beneath the industrial capital, utilizing the unique flight dynamics of a specialized pink chocobo mount. This development cements earlier developer promises regarding freeform skydiving and multi-tiered topography across the concluding chapter of the remake trilogy. Much like the urban depth mapped out in our [Cyberpunk 2077 Welcome to Paradise Quest: [Full Guide & Walkthrough]](/news/cyberpunk-2077-welcome-to-paradise-guide-717), the Midgar underworld features staggering depth and scale rather than flat terrain. The brief clip demonstrates fluid transitions between high-altitude gliding and ground exploration, proving that vertical level design will dictate pacing across critical story hubs. Community response has centered on chocobo breeding mechanics, hinting that color-coded mounts will grant access to hidden endgame materia caches and tucked-away side bosses scattered throughout Gaia's uncharted subterranean fissures.
