Enshrouded 1.0 Launch: Full Story & Map Expansion [Confirmed]

Enshrouded 1.0 officially launched on PC today, concluding nearly three years in early access with a complete main narrative campaign, expanded open-world biomes, elevated level caps, and overhauled survival crafting systems for millions of active survival role-playing fans worldwide. According to verified reports from Rock Paper Shotgun, developer Keen Games delivered the monumental 1.0 milestone to transform the voxel-based action RPG into a feature-complete open-world epic. The final launch introduces the concluding chapters of Embervale's lore, bringing definitive closure to the ancestral shroud crisis that captivated early access adventurers. Players can explore vast new biomes packed with challenging dungeons, towering fortress ruins, and deadlier shroud roots that test cooperative team builds. The comprehensive launch also cleans up legacy performance bottlenecks while refining weapon progression trees, similar to how modern studios revamp foundational mechanics when projects like the [Total War: Shogun 2 Remaster Pulled Over AI Art [Confirmed]](/news/total-war-shogun-2-remaster-pulled) face market scrutiny. Keen Games expanded base-building options with hundreds of decorative assets, enhanced NPC quest lines, and upgraded enemy AI pathfinding. Dedicated co-op servers now support seamless cross-region performance, ensuring 16-player guilds can construct monumental fortresses without physics desynchronization or terrain glitches.
