Enshrouded How to Make Goo: Complete Crafting Guide [2026]

To make Goo in Enshrouded, players must summon the Alchemist Balthazar, craft a Mortar, and combine one Dirt, one Shroud Liquid, and one Bug Dust at the Alchemist workstation to unlock critical Flame Altar upgrades and advanced magical consumables. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, mastering Goo production represents a mandatory milestone for adventurers pushing into the perilous Nomads Highlands and Kindlewastes biomes. Players first need to rescue Alchemist Balthazar from his Ancient Vault located northwest of the Springlands fast-travel spire. Once safely housed within an enclosed base structure, Balthazar offers quests to retrieve grinding stones and construct the Mortar. Gathering the raw ingredients requires targeted regional exploration across Embervale. Dirt is collected instantly by utilizing a pickaxe or shovel on standard terrain, while Shroud Liquid is harvested from large white fungal bulbs thriving inside the deadly mist. Bug Dust demands crushing Critter Parts inside the newly forged Mortar, which drop reliably from shroud beetles and spiders. Producing steady batches of Goo enables tier-four Flame Altar strengthening, similar to analytical strategic progression seen in our coverage of the [PUBG Mobile & Dream Siege Halloween Update: Grid Strategy [Confirmed]](/news/dream-siege-halloween-update-guide). With Goo in hand, players unlock high-tier defensive wards and alchemical ammunition.
