Manual clearing around Longkeep yields immediate starting bundles, but long-term settlement fortification requires dedicated infrastructure. Unlocking the Farmer survivor and building Seedbeds unlocks shrub seedling propagation using water and dirt. This shift converts passive gathering into an industrial crafting loop, eliminating downtime when preparing for perilous expeditions into the Shroud.
