Enshrouded Coal Farm: Best Locations & Kiln Recipe [Full Guide]

To farm coal in Enshrouded efficiently, players must mine glossy black mineral veins scattered across the rocky cliffs of Springlands and Nomad Highlands using a pickaxe, or mass-produce charcoal alternatives by burning wood logs and dirt inside a Charcoal Kiln. According to verified gameplay reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, coal represents one of the most critical foundational materials in Keen Games' cooperative survival action-RPG. As Flameborn adventurers push deeper into the Shroud, progression halts without thermal fuels required to run the Blacksmith's smelters and forges. While raw coal nodes exist on elevated ridgelines, crafting Charcoal through the Blacksmith's Charcoal Kiln serves as the most reliable early-game method, demanding just 20 Wood Logs and 10 Dirt for every 15 Charcoal batch over five minutes. Pairing this sustainable thermal engine with advanced gathering tactics—such as combining fuel with specialized resources detailed in our [Enshrouded Reptile Leather Farm: Where to Find Hide [Full Guide]](/news/enshrouded-reptile-leather-hide-farm-guide)—enables squads to mass-produce refined ingots without stalling exploration. Resource nodes reset reliably upon logging out or resetting server instances, giving dedicated farming groups an infinite supply loop.
