DC Universe Clayface Movie: Joker Tease [Confirmed]

DC Studios' upcoming cinematic project Clayface has officially established the presence of Batman's arch-nemesis Joker within James Gunn's DC Universe after verified on-set production photographs from Liverpool revealed prominent gang graffiti tags reading The Jokers. According to verified reporting from Polygon, production captured during late 2025 across UK shooting locations featured detailed street-level worldbuilding across Gotham City. Set dressings highlighted competing criminal syndicates, confirming that Joker’s influence already permeates the metropolis long before Batman’s standalone projects premiere. This environmental storytelling mirrors transmedia strategies previously tracked in our coverage of [Marvel's Wolverine Tops September 2026 Sales [Confirmed]](/news/marvel-wolverine-september-sales-2026), where cinematic lore directly influences interactive gaming universes. Industry insiders note that Clayface, originally penned as a psychological horror-thriller, functions as a linchpin connecting Gotham's underworld factions across both cinema and companion gaming titles. The confirmation of The Jokers suggests copycat street gangs inspired by the iconic villain, laying immediate narrative groundwork for upcoming Arkham-style interactive experiences. By confirming the villain's presence through grounded environmental cues rather than high-profile casting leaks, DC Studios is establishing authentic lore continuity across films, television, and upcoming triple-A action-adventure game adaptations scheduled throughout late 2026.
