Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5: Free Witcher 3 Gear [Full Guide]

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 delivers free Witcher 3 themed gear to all players across PC and consoles in 2026, allowing Night City mercenaries to claim Geralt of Rivia's iconic Sihil sword and Ursine gear directly inside V's Megabuilding H10 apartment stash. According to verified reports from TalkEsport, CD Projekt Red quietly distributed this crossover package without prior patch notes fanfare, catching community modders and speedrunners off guard.

To acquire the items, players must load their latest Phantom Liberty save file and wait for an in-game text prompt from an NPC contact named Arianne. Upon replying, V receives a discreet delivery in their apartment wardrobe and weapons stash containing the Sihil sword, Professor Spectacles, Ursine Jacket, and Ursine Pants. Much like broader studio developments highlighted when [David Gaider Addresses BioWare Studio Closure [Confirmed]](/news/david-gaider-addresses-bioware-closure), legacy franchise synergies generate massive engagement surges for mature RPG ecosystems.

Every item drops at level-matched epic or legendary rarity with dedicated mod slots, granting immediate combat utility without requiring tedious crafting component farming across Pacifica or Dogtown.
