CS2 EPL Season 24 Swiss Stage Sets Playoff Race and Upset Potential [2026 Update]

As originally reported by .gg, the ESL Pro League Season 24 Swiss Stage kicked off on October 3 and concluded on October 7, hosting sixteen of the world’s top CS2 squads. Each team faced a single‑elimination bracket where a loss sent them to the lower bracket, and only eight winners advanced to the playoffs. The narrative centered on Team Spirit, fresh off their Esports World Cup 2026 triumph, looking to cement their supremacy. Meanwhile, former Major champion Team Falcons sought a return to form, and Team Vitality entered with momentum after a StarSeries Season 20 victory. Legacy’s revamped roster surprised many, while longtime powerhouse Natus Vincere (NAVI) fought desperately to avoid missing the upcoming Singapore Major. The Swiss format produced several tight maps, with teams rotating between classic and newer maps to exploit tactical advantages, setting the stage for potential upsets before the knockout phase.
