EA Sports FC 26: Courtois Backs Mbappe Over Yamal [Confirmed]

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois officially endorsed Kylian Mbappe to claim the 2026 Ballon d'Or over Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, arguing that the French forward displayed decisive individual dominance following contrasting international tournament performances between the two world-class superstars. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, Courtois highlighted that while Yamal demonstrated dazzling technical flair during domestic campaigns, Mbappe's sheer output on the global stage separates him as the outright frontrunner for football's highest individual accolade. The Belgian shot-stopper emphasized that Yamal suffered from a slightly worse World Cup run, dampening the teenage sensation's immediate claim to the golden trophy. This high-profile endorsement reverberates heavily across competitive virtual football circuits, including EA Sports FC competitive ladders where real-world form dictates promotional upgrades and Team of the Year trajectories.
