Control Resonant Board Dialogue Is Gibberish [Confirmed]

Remedy Entertainment audio lead Lucas Pierrot revealed in an interview with GameSpot News that the unsettling speech spoken by The Board in Control Resonant is carefully constructed gibberish, confirming that the entity's mysterious vocal lines contain no actual human language. According to verified reports from GameSpot News, players analyzing the entity's distorted cadence across Manhattan were experiencing acoustic pareidolia—a psychological phenomenon where listeners project familiar words onto ambient soundscapes. Pierrot clarified that the team deliberately avoided language affiliation so fans could indulge subjective interpretations while relying on official subtitles for narrative clarity. The audio direction mirrors the psychological tension found across Remedy's connected ecosystem, where sonic cues dictate supernatural danger. Much like technical sound design shifts seen in titles like [Dispatch Mobile Release and Two New Modes [Confirmed 2026]](/news/dispatch-mobile-release-new-modes-confirmed), environmental audio plays a pivotal role in pacing high-stress exploration. By leaving The Board's verbalization untethered to linguistic rules, the studio deepens atmospheric unease while maintaining precise pacing during paranormal combat sequences. The revelation settles ongoing community debates regarding hidden backwards messages or secret Scandinavian dialect ciphers, proving that The Board's cryptic presence relies entirely on procedural noise layers and psychoacoustic illusions.
