Call of Duty MW4 Campaign Early Access [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from GameSpot News, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign officially launched its early access period today, October 16, for pre-order customers across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC platforms. Unlocking promptly at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, the release marks a monumental pivot for Activision as this installment serves as the epic conclusion to the Modern Warfare storyline initiated back in 2019. Activision executive Tyler Bahl confirmed in interviews that while certain legacy characters might return or be reinvented down the line, this release definitively closes a massive chapter for the franchise. Accompanying the launch, developer Infinity Ward issued an urgent plea to the global community to safeguard the narrative experience. "We've one one ask. Let everyone experience it for themselves. Keep the campaign spoilers under wraps. Time to go dark," the studio posted in an official statement. Players who pre-ordered have been preloading the massive data files ahead of time to jump straight into the action without delay.
