Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 First DLC [Confirmed]

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 officially released on October 23, introducing its first major day-one DLC pack, the CODE Valor Pack, which honors real-life Medal of Honor recipient Kyle Carpenter as a fully playable operator character in multiplayer modes. According to verified reports from GameSpot News, Carpenter sustained severe, life-altering injuries on November 21, 2010, in Marjah, Afghanistan, when he threw himself in front of a live grenade to save fellow Marine Nick Eufrazio. Following five weeks of unconsciousness, extensive reconstructive facial surgeries, and the permanent loss of his right eye, Carpenter was later awarded the prestigious Medal of Honor by President Barack Obama in 2014. Continuing long-standing Call of Duty tradition, 100% of net proceeds from the CODE Valor Pack directly fund Activision's charitable foundation, helping military veterans transition into civilian careers and secure meaningful employment after leaving active military service. This vital philanthropic initiative bridges the global gaming community with real-world veteran support, allowing players worldwide to honor genuine battlefield heroism while engaging in competitive online matchmaking across launch playlists.
